We’re testing out a new feature called Driver Familiarity. Once a driver has completed a route, that data will be stored in Routific and we’ll use it to score their familiarity with a route or a geographic region.
Why do territories matter?
Drivers can complete familiar routes 10% faster.
Drivers save time by learning where to park.
Drivers build relationships with customers.
**We are currently rolling this feature out, which means some users will see this feature while others will not. We expect a full roll-out by summer of 2025.

How is the familiarity score calculated?
A driver’s familiarity score is calculated based on their familiarity with the route in question. It does not compare one driver’s familiarity with a route with another driver’s.
For a given route, what factors influence a driver’s score?
How many stops on the route has the driver visited in the past
How many stops on the route are within a 2 km radius of a stop that the driver has visited in the past.
How often has the driver been to a stop on the route or has been to another stop that’s within 2 km of a stop on the route.
How do I interpret the rating system?

0 bars = driver is not familiar with the route
A driver hasn’t been anywhere within 2 kms of any stop on the route.
1 bar = driver is not very familiar with the route
The driver has previously visited fewer than 33% of the stops on this route – or locations within 2 km of them – at least once.
2 bars = driver is somewhat familiar with the route
The driver has previously visited between 33%-66% of the stops on this route – or locations within 2 km of them – at least once.
3 bars = driver is familiar with the route
The driver has previously visited at least 66% of the stops on this route – or locations within 2 km of them – at least once.
